[This excerpt explains why and how vaccination can cause autism, as well as MS and Alzheimers.]
"Thimerosal (ethylmercury, Merthiolate) is known to damage brain and spinal cord tissue, mainly by inflammation, and involving excessive secretion of inflammatory cytokines, such as Interleukin-6. It is also a potent anti-oxidant,
and inhibits oxidative phosphorylation in the mitochondria, the ærobic pathway by which the animal body utilizes inhaled oxygen to produce energy. Comprising only 2% of the total body mass, the human brain consumes fully 20% of its
inhaled oxygen, a dependence that renders it exquisitely vulnerable to any such interference.
In much the same fashion, aluminum salts found in vaccines cross the blood-brain barrier readily, activate the same inflammatory cytokines, block oxidative phosphorylation in the mitochondria of neurons and supporting glial cells,
and are known to be associated with a variety of serious clinical and neuropathological states, notably autism, multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer's disease.
To make matters worse, the immature central nervous systems of infants and small children need several years to develop an efficient blood-brain barrier, and are thus especially vulnerable to potent neurotoxins like Thimerosal and
aluminum salts in vaccines when exposed to them before that barrier has attained its full capacity."
