Amazing and Mysterious Homeopathy

amyfoot1I hope you will excuse this image if you find it a bit weird or gross.  It’s a picture of the bottom of my foot, and it stands as proof of the story I’m going to tell you about an experience I’ve just had — a story that underscores the freaky and wondrous power of homeopathy.  Even though I wrote Impossible Cure and have written about homeopathy for so many years, experiences like this one still leave my mouth hanging open!

I recently took a 200c dose of Silica for a variety of issues — it was suggested by my homeopath as a constitutional remedy. The remedy has had various curative effects on me, but the most unexpected and strange effect has been the “healing” of something I experienced when I was about 9 years old. In fact, I had completely forgotten about it.

As you might know, one of the hallmarks of a curative response to a remedy is the return of old symptoms. In essence, the body unwinds and re-experiences previous ailments and symptoms that had been suppressed or had not completely healed, and thus had left an energetic imprint on the body, even if we are not aware of them at a conscious or physical level.  In addition, Silica (made from the mineral silicon), in particular, is known as a remedy that has the power to expel foreign material from the body such as splinters. For this reason, those who have implants in their body are warned to be cautious with Silica. Interestingly, Silica is known for “expelling” the toxic effects of vaccines as well.

A couple of weeks after taking the dose of Silica, I started noticing a small bump on the bottom of my foot. It felt hard, and I began to wonder if the remedy was removing something that had been embedded there.  Soon however, it stopped being hard but instead, formed a round area, about 3/4 inch in diameter, that had a slight burning sensation, especially at night. It wasn’t really troublesome, but it sure was mysterious!  Knowing homeopathy the way that I do, I was unconcerned but curious to see what would happen next.

After about a week of experiencing the burning spot, I remembered a long-forgotten event from my childhood.  When I was about nine years old, I developed a Plantars wart in that exact location. My mom took me to a dermatologist, an old man (at least it seemed to me!) who, instead of “burning” it off,  applied a patch to the spot that slowly ate away at the bottom of my foot.  After several weeks and more patches, the Plantars wart was eaten away, leaving a big hole in the bottom of my foot that slowly healed.

It’s amazing, but a single dose of Silica (silicon diluted 1:100, 200 times!), taken at age 60, brought back this over 50-year-old experience to my foot.  Of course, it didn’t bring back the Plantars wart itself, but my foot seemed to be reliving a kind of energetic memory of the event, in a more benign form. It was even re-experiencing the burning sensation caused by those patches!  At this point, my foot no longer burns, but old layers of skin are peeling off from the spot and it is slowly healing.  I took this picture last week.  Now, the spot is even smaller and my foot continues to return back to normal — now, presumably, truly healed from a trauma that occurred over 50 years ago!

This experience underscores so many truths about the body:

  • Ailments that we think have been “healed” and forgotten can still be remembered by the body in energetic form.
  • Homeopathy is able to trigger healing of these old energetic wounds.
  • The body utilizes the homeopathic remedy according to its own mysterious logic. Rather than “doing” something to the physical body, it supplies the vital force with energy that enables it to heal itself, according to its own wisdom.

Amazing!  That’s why I always say:  There’s Hope With Homeopathy!
